FIRED UP! READY TO GO! LIFE: A BOOT CAMP FOR CONSCIOUSNESS If we are not fired up, we are not likely to pursue our life’s greatest dream. Building the right consciousness is like an athlete training his body to be best for his sport. If at times, we become discouraged and feel down, remember the old Yiddish saying, “In the twinkling of an eye, salvation comes.” It will pick you up. It did, former president, Barak Obama. It was during his campaign for the Democratic Candidacy in the 2008 election. He arrived in the small town of Greenwood, South Carolina, on a rainy evening, sick and down in spirit. Going to the car, his umbrella blew inside-out and he was soaked. His driver said the hall of his destination was an hour and a half away. Only a handful of people were there at Mr. Obama’s arrival, and neither he, nor they, were feeling particularly inspired by each other’s presence.
